In the event of a fault, short circuit, when the pump can work continuously, too high temperature may develop, and it may damage the seal. In case of problems with the pump, we can also feel the power steering cut-off, it may work irregularly, sometimes we may feel increased resistance on the steering wheel.

In some cases, there may also be a complete lack of assistance, then turning the steering wheel will require the application of quite a lot of force. It may be the result of complete damage to the pump, it may be due to the failure of moving parts. Of course, a V-belt may also be broken for one of the reasons.
